Therapist Overview

I believe in creating an open, safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate therapeutic environment that is informed by structure to help you make the changes necessary to build the life that you want. I also believe in an equally kind and direct stylistic approach, coupled with a strong emphasis on collaboration. In our work together, I will provide you with scientifically studied tools to help move you in the direction you wish to go. That is why I practice mindfulness-based 3rd wave cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT), primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am highly committed to evidence-based practices, thus training and supervision are an essential part of my work. Currently I serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA where I supervise Ph.D. students in ACT. I previously served as an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Supervisor at Columbia University where I trained Ph.D. students in 3rd wave CBT. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety disorders
