Therapist Overview
If you are reading this right now, you are probably feeling alone or in crisis — and searching for relief. My work as a therapist is to provide you with a safe, judgement-free environment where you can openly discuss the areas of distress in your life where you want change. I offer a holistic, mindful approach to my practice and am trained in several evidence-based modalities shown to be effective in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma. Whether you’ve been struggling for years or are in the midst of recent issues now, hope is available and change is possible. You don’t have to struggle alone. I received a master’s degree in social work in 2004 from Columbia University with a focus on clinical work with children and families. Before moving to Idaho, I worked as a therapist New York City and am trained in CBT, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Sex Therapy, Couples Therapy, and EMDR/trauma therapy. As a mental health practitioner (and human), I ascribe to a strength-based and solution-focused philosophy. I believe in resilience and the human capacity to heal. I am creative, compassionate, and care deeply for the clients I work with. And I’m here to offer help. (I also offer free 15 min. consultations, so we can see if we’re a good fit for one another.)
