Over the years, I have formed a passion in helping those who have experienced trauma and other adverse childhood events. I am EMDR-trained as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy certified to assist individuals get past their negative beliefs based on their experiences. My traineeship includes working with survivors of interpersonal violence and sexual assault and kids/teens who have experienced disruption due to substance abuse and childhood trauma. I currently work as a clinician in a managed healthcare company, working with issues like anxiety, depression, OCD, postpartum issues & bipolar disorder. I incorporate mindfulness in my treatment, which stems from my own yoga practice. I am also passionate about working with parents to discuss useful strategies to improve their relationship with their children. Collaboratively, I work with both the kids, teens and parents to help with issues regarding defiance, impulsivity, inattention, communication. My goal is to help individuals improve their relationships with themselves and others so that they can find satisfaction and fulfillment in their lives. Weekends only.
