I am not accepting new clients at this time. I appreciate the vulnerability, trust, and courage it takes for an individual to sit down in front a new person and share their story. I always keep in mind what it takes for a client to enter my office and face their issues, whether daily frustrations, major changes, and/or traumatic experiences. I approach my clients with sincerity and openly discuss their likes/dislikes of the process. I welcome clients to a space where they can be themselves without judgement to create change. I have worked with clients in recovery, using Schema Therapy to understand the connections between clients, substance use, and their daily interactions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how their beliefs and thoughts influence their actions and daily emotional experiences, whether anxiety, sadness, guilt, or other emotions. I believe people have inherent worth, which is why I care about my clients. I offer sessions via secure video for clients, who experience difficulty with transportation and for those who stepping foot into an office feels overwhelming. I do my best to mold therapy into an experience that feels warm, achievable, and welcoming for all people of any identity.
