Therapist Overview
Are you struggling with the current pandemic? Are you dealing with issues such as loneliness, grief, anxiety, or depression as a result of self-isolation? There comes a time when help is needed and as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I am here to assist and guide you through these uncertain times. I graduated from National University with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am currently employed and supervised at Insightful Matters Family Counseling Professionals. My theoretical orientation is rooted in existentialism and humanism, however, I believe that an integrated approach to therapy is a valuable tool in helping my clients gain a balanced perspective on the life issues they are facing. I also believe humor is a valuable tool in counseling. Every individual is unique and while I believe it is important to have an eclectic approach, a solid therapeutic relationship holds the keys to offering the client a safe, comfortable and judgement-free space to explore personal strengths and limitations. I look forward to working with you on your mental health journey.
