Therapist Overview
I understand my clients are unique individuals. The approach to their therapy should be just as unique. There is no “cookie cutter” approach in working with the subtle nuances that we all possess as people. As a clinician, I find working with people who want to grow incredibly rewarding! Ideally, I find clients who are curious, want to grow and who are dedicated to working on themselves wonderful to work with. However, sometimes, clients may be confused, scared and not sure what next steps to take. I find working with these clients just as rewarding! I specialize in anxiety, depression, bipolar, substance abuse/dependency and thought disorders (ex: psychotic thought processes). I have a passion for working with women regarding pregnancy (before, during and postpartum) and, specifically, with pregnancy loss. I have extensive experience with crisis intervention and discussion on suicide. Life can be filled with not only beauty, sweetness and joy, but it can also include situations and experiences in which you may need someone to partner with you and to help walk with you and help guide you along the path toward healing. It is my honor to be able to help lead my clients along that path to get closer to feeling whole and at peace.
