I love what I do! I am a client centered therapist and believe there is no one perfect way to do therapy that fits for every person. Each client is unique and you are the expert on you. I view my job as helping to guide you through the healing process and giving you a safe place to feel your emotions and be yourself. I am dedicated to helping clients make the progress they want in their lives. In addition to a client-centered approach, I am also trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and other forms of therapy. We will address the needs of the “whole person” in order to build healthy coping tools, establish good habits, challenge unhealthy beliefs, increase a sense of self worth/identity/esteem, heal emotional wounds and put an end to the cycles and patterns that hold individuals back from living the life they want to live. Regardless of whether there has been a specific trauma or not, we have all been affected by challenges and have felt hurt at some point. I use a holistic approach to healing that includes more than just talking about “problems”, but also looking at strengths and finding hope. I enjoy helping others work through the experiences that have had a major impact.
