Therapist Overview
Just when we think we have it figured out, life throws us a curveball. Have you ever felt that no matter what you do, your child appears angry, sad, lonely, or worried? Imagine facing the “typical” teen challenges such as struggling with independence, sexuality, academic pressures, peer pressure, & self-esteem on a stage, for the world to see & judge because of that thing that’s probably in their hands right now? Yup. Technology & social media have changed the game for teens (and adults). “Adulting” isn’t easy either. With work, friends & family there’s the pressure to constantly be ‘on’, to look & sound perfect. We’re “supposed to” have it all together. We’re adults. Right? Listen, we all have off days. But sometimes those days turn into weeks, months, & maybe even years and no one seems to understand. I like to think that I’m a “real” & down to earth therapist. My goal is to create a safe, & nurturing environment for each client while understanding that no 2 clients or their experiences are the same. I believe that every person, regardless of age, has a story to tell & my goal is to create a safe & nurturing environment for you to share that story.
