Ich lebe seit ueber 26 Jahren in den USA und unterstuetze meine deutschen Klienten beim Einleben in eine neue Kultur und Sprache und in allen anderen Ehe und Familienkrisenzeiten. Clients who come to me usually deal with feelings of anxiety, depression, wanting to make changes in their lives but feeling overwhelmed or helpless. I work with couples who want to improve their relationship or who are considering a separation or divorce. I work with teenagers who deal with the stress of school, teen relationships and individuation from their family of origin. I work with families and help them explore certain patterns that hinder safe communication and trust. Some clients bring their own spirituality into the counseling experience and integrate their faith into the healing process. I have a background as a pastor and hospital chaplain. As a Marriage and Family therapist I am passionate about exploring and improving relationship and behavior patterns and dynamics that hinder life giving relationships and well being. My goal is to assist clients to get to know and love themselves more and find greater joy and wellness in their lives. It takes courage to take the first step and reach out for help.
