Therapist Overview
“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” – Brené Brown. If you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, or trauma – I’m here for you. If you find yourself facing the same challenge over and over again and aren’t sure what to do differently – I’m here for you. If you’re wanting to improve your communication, conflict resolution skills, or intimacy in your relationship – I’m here for you. If your teenager is struggling to cope with their emotions, difficult situations, or their gender/sexual orientation – I’m here for them, and for you. My approach to therapy is integrative and dependent upon your unique needs, as there is no “one size fits all” with therapy. I strive to build a compassionate relationship with you by offering support and guidance to find new ways to make the changes you’re looking for. Together we will explore the challenges you face and work toward positive change. I have a background in domestic violence work. I believe it is important to understand what is considered healthy and unhealthy, to recognize abusive behavior, how to identify “red flags”, and learn to establish healthy boundaries. Knowledge is power when it comes to breaking the cycle of abuse.
