I believe the key to building a strong therapeutic alliance is meeting the client where they are. As a therapist my role is to provide non-judgmental unconditional positive regard, to help my client with exploring and overcoming life’s challenges. The therapeutic process is meant to be an empowering and enlightening experience. As a therapist, I meet my client in a dark, confusing place and we journey together to a place of peace and inner well-being. My approach is eclectic, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques and other skills-building strategies. I specialize in Trauma Focused CBT and Problematic Sexual Behavior Therapy for adolescents. In addition to counseling services, I provide forensic psychosexual assessments. I am dedicated to creating a safe and authentic space for my clients. In that sacred space we will work together to acknowledge and respect the vulnerability that precedes healing.
