Therapist Overview
When people feel better, they do better. This is true for children, adults and couples. And in families, when one person is doing better, everyone is better. You may be feeling overwhelmed or dissatisfied at home, school, work, or in an important relationship. You may be feeling like your life is not going how you had hoped or expected. Your child or teen may be struggling at home or school. If you’re a parent supporting a kid or partner who is struggling, you probably feel lonely, frustrated and discouraged. These are some of the difficulties that bring people to my office. I can help. My approach is warm, collaborative and optimally challenging. There is no “perfect” method to address life’s challenges and families are diverse. Because of this, I employ a variety of strategies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help process feelings, develop strategies and ultimately thrive. If you feel at a loss and want more joy and connection in your life, please reach out to discuss how I can help. With twenty years counseling adults, families and children I am confident in and passionate about my work. Please consult my website and email me for more information. I hope to hear from you soon.
