Your child is having meltdowns about what seems like everything! Your child “doesn’t listen” and you are growing tired of trying. It seems the only time they listen or respond is when you start yelling or put them on punishment. You have tried everything, but nothing seems to last long. You want some help. You want to them to listen. You just want to have a good time as a family and enjoy being around your child. I help parents learn to manage challenging behaviors so they can have a better relationship with their children. I also support children who face challenges with being able to learn coping skills, improve how they express big feelings, and increase their self-confidence. I approach counseling from a supportive, caring, and compassionate perspective. I focus on your strengths and the strengths of your child in order to help better manage these challenging behaviors. I offer a safe place to be open and honest about parenting without fear of judgment, shame, or feeling like a failure as a parent. Parenting comes with a lot of opinions and no playbook.
