Anne DeCore

I am dedicated to my work with couples, individuals, and families. I believe that new experiences shape new learnings: feeling heard by a partner; connecting to deep emotion; practicing new tools for improved communication. I create a safe space where these kinds of new experiences can emerge and advance a client toward growth and change. This process of experience and reflection leads to greater self-awareness and, in turn, personal and relational healing. I am attuned to your story. I listen, care, and seek to understand your identity, culture, and goals. Your goals guide the therapy process and your feedback is both important and valued as we work together to solve the meaningful problems in your life. I earned my Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and I work from an integrative framework. This means I am trained in various therapy models and tailor strategies and tools based on your specific needs.
