My name is Tina Stewart. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist having received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Simpson University, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at National University. I have been licensed with the State of California since 2015. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages and their families. I also have experience working with adults to assist in their creating positive life change. I find satisfaction working with senior citizens as they navigate life transitions. I have extensive trauma-based experience and have completed Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) Level 1 training. I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Adoption Competency and multiple levels of Triple P (Positive Parenting Program). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My goal is to provide unconditional positive regard to individuals and families in a supportive environment to facilitate positive advancements towards each person’s personal growth and happiness.
