For the first time in our lifetime, we are experiencing a global pandemic with all sorts of implications for changes in our lives. How much change is not yet known. As a psychologist, I cannot anticipate what will happen, nor is it my job to give advise about the virus itself. During this uncertain time, however, I can help with the sadness, fear, and anxiety that surrounds the uncertainty. Living in distress is neither healthy nor desirable. Part of my duty as psychologist to do what I can to help in reducing felt distress. My approach is multi-modal and strength-based. I am experienced in the treatment of: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Stress Disorders, Phobias, Addiction, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. In addition to the standard treatment modalities, I am certified in Trauma-Focused CBT and Positive Parenting Program (Levels 1 through 5), and trained in EMDR, and Mindfulness.
