My experience & education strengthens my ability to empathize with & support clients across my areas of expertise incl ADHD, Trauma & Work life problems amongst other issues. My approach is personable & empathetic & pride myself on being down-to-earth & unpretentious. Clients have commented on how comfortable they feel working with me, trusting that I have their best interests at heart. When appropriate I am also known to have a spring in my step and smile on my face. I trained as a counsellor in my home country of New Zealand, with a BA in psychology & education & masters in counseling. I adopt an integrated approach to my work, meaning I have the ability to adapt different therapeutic techniques to the personality & needs of each client.To date I have worked with a variety of cultures & ages.Clients have experienced issues with trauma related to abuse & disaster; workplace issues; ADHD & ASD. As well as anxiety, depression & relationships.
