Therapist Overview

My work as a clinician centers around the belief that therapy begins when you meet individuals where they are. I strive to empower clients to identify and utilize their strengths as well as work toward their goals. I am licensed through the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master’s Degree from Winthrop University with a focus on empowerment practice. As everyone has walked different journeys in life, their process in therapy should be just as unique. I have experience using several therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, solution focused therapy as well as play therapy. I am constantly researching and participating in continuing education to learn more techniques to help the individuals I serve. I strive to provide a compassionate but honest space for clients to grow and heal. I look forward in partnering together to improve your mental health!
