I am so honored to welcome you to my practice, “The Heart of the Matter”. Though the symptoms may be anxiety or depression, quite often there are underlying wounds at the Heart of the Matter. I am Jeanine Ricchetti, a licensed professional mental health counselor with 30+ years of experience as a professional although I began hearing my first trauma stories from friends at the age of 15. I’ve always been an empathic listener, allowing people to be who they are and to feel what they need to feel, in the sacred space between us where they can safely get to the Heart of the Matter. That simply came naturally to me by age fifteen. Fortunately, there’s been so much research in the past 30 years that we have been able to determine what works to help people to get to the Heart of the Matter and move on!
