I specialize in helping adults negotiate turning points and transitions. These turning points are the critical experiences making our lives’ narratives uniquely ours. Transitions may come in the form of divorce, grief, job loss, health concerns, or parenting status changes. Alternatively, transitions may be signals it is time for a change. My work focuses on making meaning of these transitions and the stressors that often accompany them. Some of my specific areas of practice include work and career issues, relationship concerns, and stress and stress management. My approach to therapy is highly collaborative. To this end, I highlight insight-oriented, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapies. I also have training in EMDR, HeartMath, and meditation. These somatic approaches often complement traditional talk therapy. Thus, I work with clients to identify the approaches best meeting their strengths and goals.
