Hello, and thank you for taking the beginning steps to finding a therapist. Choosing the right therapist is a huge part of getting the help you need, so let me briefly introduce myself. My therapy style leans on open and honest conversation, developing insight into situations and issues, and a sense of humor as we work on serious issues. I utilize therapeutic tools (assessments) to document progress and establish treatment plans. My goal is to make a real working connection with my clients that is based on trust and commitment from both parties involved. I do have specialty trainings in trauma work using EMDR therapy which I have seen amazing results with clients who have abuse backgrounds, dealing with traumatic events, and phobias.
