Therapist Overview
My mission is to assist clients in achieving their goals. Working together we will identify and strive for goals that will show you are making a positive steps forward. I have spent most of my counseling practice working with children, adolescents and families. Over the years I have helped my clients work through many different concerns including anxiety/depression, family communication, problems with school, coping with difficulties, poor social skills, electronics dependence and many more situations. I have focused a lot of attention recently into impulse control and relevant coping skills. My practice is very focused on helping you find a solution. Therapy should be a path with an end in mind. Working with children and adolescents increases the need to meet goals quickly to allow them to continue to be productive in the many challenging environments they find themselves. Being goal focused helps you remember why you are making a change. Even though I focus on college and school age groups I also work with adults and couples on many of the same concerns. I am also a 20 year veteran of the military and fully understand and appreciate the sacrifices made by those who serve and their families. If you are ready to take the next step in your life, contact me and we can get started.
