I see counseling as a ministry. When working with clients, I join them in their journey, walking alongside for the time we are working together. I believe the human person is made good, made for relationship, and that fullness of life is found in being able to be a gift to another. I believe life can be hard sometimes, and this can hinder our ability to have what we hope for in relationships. In therapy, I work with clients to resolve the concerns that prevent them from achieving the goals they have for their lives; with a focus on the healing of past experiences of trauma. I consider it an honor and privilege to serve my clients. I specialize in work with children and adolescents, and also in healing of trauma for children, adolescents, and adults. I am an EMDR trained clinician, and have found the approach helpful in healing trauma for adults.
