Therapist Overview
(Face to Face and Telehealth sessions offered). Life is an adventure with many twists and turns. Challenges along the way do not have to be faced alone. I support adults, families, and children with life transitions and stressors. I have more than 20 years of experience treating clients from diverse backgrounds, with a wide range of presenting issues. My practice is safe and welcoming, offering talk therapy for adults. As a Registered Play Therapist, I offer developmentally appropriate approaches (play and creative therapies) for children ages 3 and up. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and a Certified School Counselor. I hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am a Professor in Professional Counseling at WPUNJ since 2008, and Senior Contributing Faculty at Walden Univ. in Clinical Mental Health. I am a Registered Play Therapist/Supervisor. A notable career in academics has been part of my journey. Now, my aim and focus is clinical work and therapy supporting families, individuals, and children. You are welcome to call for a brief phone consultation. Or email me if you have further questions. I look forward to speaking with you.
