In 2004, I shifted my work from residential to community, working with adults experiencing interpersonal difficulties (including interpersonal violence and sexual abuse) marital dissatisfaction, and infidelity to name a few. I have 20 years of experience and specialized training in couples therapy to help disarm conflicting verbal communication & increase intimacy, respect and affection. I create a plan that is tailored for the unique needs of each couple and individual personalities. In addition to working with new and existing relationships, I am also a certified Domestic Violence Specialist. My program meets the State of WI court-ordered requirements. I have 20 years of experience addressing interpersonal relationships and it’s many complexities including trauma. I am trained in and offer Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.
