Equine Assisted Psychotherapy is an experiential and solution-oriented treatment model that utilizes ground-based interactions with horses to facilitate change. Tailwinds Therapy offers Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) as well as traditional office therapy options for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Our treatment team consists of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Equine Specialist, and one or more horses in each session. The team utilizes the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) model to treat symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, and difficulty with life transitions.
