Therapist Overview
Pain is an experience that can feel scary, isolating, and everlasting. Whether it be emotional, physical, mental, or relational, pain takes on many forms and can disguise itself in different ways. Has a painful event left you feeling overwhelmed? Are you, or somebody you know, battling with a serious medical condition? Do you face challenges in life that leave you feeling stuck? I have extensive experience in medical environments and thus am particularly equipped to work with individuals and their loved ones who are experiencing serious medical challenges and transitions such as cancer, debilitating pain, Alzheimer’s, and other chronic or life-threatening conditions. As a therapist, I have a strength-based lens in my approach. In my work with individuals, couples, and families, I listen on a variety of levels, discovering connections and areas that benefit from further exploration. I bring a sense of humor into our work, while not being afraid to ask the tough questions.
