Therapist Overview
Starting therapy is a courageous endeavor. You may be feeling stuck in a rut, having trouble managing stress, or struggling with your relationship with food. I work with adults and adolescents with eating disorders, anxiety and depression. I am psychodynamically trained and integrate evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I utilize Enhanced Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), and provide Family-Based Treatment (FBT / Maudsley) to adolescents with eating disorders. I have certificates in Contemporary Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, Family-Based Treatment of Eating Disorders in Adolescents: The Maudsley Method (Step 1), and DBT Skills Training: The Essentials (Behavioral Tech). Feel free to call or email me to set up a free phone consultation.
