Therapist Overview
Change can be stressful. LIFE can be stressful! Sometimes, the transition might be the birth of a child, a new job, a new relationship or it could involve the loss of a loved one, or coping with a family member being ill. I am particularly passionate about helping women, especially those entering parenthood, those living with grief & loss or those entering a new stage of life. If you feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, sadness or even hopelessness, you do not have to feel alone. Those recurring thoughts of self doubt or painful relational patterns CAN be changed. A safe, compassionate space is what I offer, followed by expert skills to cope with anxiety, depression, womens’ issues, parent-child challenges, and trauma reactions. Besides utilizing CBT(Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) & art/expressive therapies. I believe that an understanding of your own motivations influenced by past experiences is essential. If you are used to being the helper, getting help yourself may be a challenge. You do not have to carry this stress on your own. TRUST that growth and healing can be found in safe connection with another.
