Therapist Overview
I have a passion for working with adolescents and their parents or guardians, young adults, and people who have a history of trauma. Finding an individual identity, personal interests, and focusing on strengths and values are integral parts of most sessions with me. My personal philosophy is to meet clients where they are in life, help them get the tools to find their way to wellness, and a create a life they are excited to live. My practice is very goal-oriented, and I help clients identify and use their strengths to achieve them. I have specialized education in trauma, specifically with women and children, and suicide prevention. I love thinking outside the box, and use an integrated approach based in cognitive behavioral therapy. I use art, music, writing, and other forms of expression to work through issues and find healing. I have always had an interest in helping others and listening to the stories of everyone around me. What is your story? You are not alone. Reach out. I’m here
