Therapist Overview
**NOT CURRENTLY TAKING NEW CLIENTS** Many people turn to therapy to help heal old and new wounds. I believe healing stems from a place of safety and respect for the client’s process. With developed trust, the therapeutic relationship can offer a foundation for self-exploration and help give voice to parts of the self that have been neglected and ignored. My approach is relational and grounded in values of compassion and inclusion. I work collaboratively to support clients in building self-awareness, growth and change. My practice is trauma-informed and I incorporate body-centered and experiential modalities, including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and mindfulness, to help foster integration of emotions, thoughts and somatic experiences. I help clients build on their inherent strengths, identify old patters and explore copings skills that are getting in the way. I specialize in working with eating disorders and invite clients to explore their relationship with food and body through a health at every size lens. I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and deeply value working with clients toward recovery, maintenance and health. I completed level 1 Sensorimotor Psychotherapy training in 2019.
