Therapist Overview
You thought having a baby would be such a joy, instead you feel anxious, irritable, and disconnected. I work with pregnant and postpartum mothers who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ambivalence, and isolation. These feelings are having a big impact on your relationship with your partner and your confidence as a mother. I specialize in helping mothers with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders during and after pregnancy. I also support couples navigating the transition in their relationship with a new baby, women exploring how the relationship with their mothers influence their identity as mothers, highly sensitive mothers and women in creative fields. Working as a creative arts therapist has given me the privilege of helping those who are struggling to find the right words to heal from their pain through the use of art, music, story, and role exploration. I am also trained as a somatic therapist to support mothers recovering from trauma.
