Therapist Overview

I have over 30 years of experience in providing short and long-term psychotherapy. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. I work collaboratively and compassionately with individuals struggling with emotional and behavioral issues. I help adults manage life issues, such as marriage, parenting, divorce and aging. I also help adults navigate stress and crisis in family and work environments. My goal is to help individuals understand themselves, learn effective coping skills, improve self-esteem, and feel empowered. I work with children and adolescents to address school issues and family crises, such as separation and divorce. I combine play therapy, which utilizes children’s natural means of self-expression, with psychodynamic techniques. My aim is to give children and adolescents tools for adjusting to change, expressing feelings, and gaining confidence.
