I appreciate the process of counseling–the insight that can be gained through the therapeutic relationship can foster positive, sustained change over one’s lifetime. There are many struggles that we face in our daily lives and I see counseling as a way to determine how we can develop resiliency to overcome these situations and learn transferable skills for future challenges. I enjoy working with clients that are seeking meaning and perspective in their lives; I believe clients that are successful are open and honest and have the capability to live an authentic life. I work with a wide range of individuals and families. In individual work, I utilize a person-centered approach where I meet my clients where they are in their lives in order to establish goals. This approach is also helpful for families that are struggling with life transitions and relationships.
