I prescribe to Carl Jung’s theories. The goal of this therapy is the integration of complexes so the Self can emerge. Jung believed the development of the psyche parallels to that of the physical body. Just as the physical body develops survival mechanisms, so does the psyche by developing ways of perceiving and responding in a way that facilitates spiritual growth. Jung called the psyche ways of perceiving and responding archetypes, and the soul understand this language best. When I am working individuals I remain focused on the psyche. Jung calls this process individuation, and that is the goal of any successful therapy.
