The decision to enter treatment is a significant first step towards the healing process. The importance of building a therapeutic relationship with the adult, child, teen, and family is essential and reflects my therapeutic approach to relationship building. Whether through verbal and/or nonverbal forms of communication, I try to help individuals better understand their challenges and help find alternative solutions when facing these obstacles. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and a licensed, registered, and board-certified art therapist. I received my Masters in Art Therapy and Creativity Development at Pratt Institute and my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. In the past 20 years I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings Working together as a team, we will explore the underlying concerns and develop the skills necessary to help achieve the therapeutic goals. In this process we will heal the self and one’s relationship with others.
