Therapist Overview

“All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world.” – Fred Rogers. My passion is to help others find that value. Most of my focus is with those struggling with depression, anxiety, relational concerns, concerns with sexual health, and stress of life. I am a licensed counselor who works with clients from adolescence to adults, working with individuals, couples, and families. I use a variety of approaches to the issues presented, knowing that each person is unique, bringing their own needs to the counseling session. I work from a belief that strong relationships are crucial to someone’s health. It’s in strengthening these relationships, or one’s response to them, that provides hope. I strive to partner with clients through this. I believe that there is something unique to every person that I see. It is in this uniqueness that I value the dignity of every person and couple. My hope is that my approach to counseling will allow space to strengthen those areas in a person. I approach counseling from a Christian perspective, while respecting the values of the person.
