Therapist Overview
My practice is currently full and I am unable to take new clients. I will update this regularly as spots open up. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to explore what may be at the root of your distress. While each of us has a natural capacity to heal, my role is to help you identify and remove the obstacles that stand in the way of your health, coping, growth, and well-being. I help with a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or chronic pain/illness. I specialize in trauma, single events or the kind that can be more complex, ongoing, or occurred repeatedly over longer periods of time. In session we focus on what you need. This might mean exploring how the past impacts the present, learning new coping skills, changing reactions or behavior, increasing inner wisdom, or improving relationships. I utilize evidence based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), or DBT. I may facilitate the journey but I truly believe you are the expert on yourself. I work with folks from a variety of backgrounds differing in culture, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or economic status. I approach our collaboration as one where all aspects of who you are warmly welcomed and respected. I offer a free 20 minute video consultation.
