Therapist Overview
Looking for a therapist can feel daunting when you’re depressed or anxious or when you feel like your relationship or job (or whole life) is falling apart. But it’s a great step because a therapist can help you! With a therapist, you can work through your issues and go from feeling “stuck” to feeling like you’re living up to your potential. I love helping people get there. I work with people by asking questions, listening to the answers, and finding small (or big) things to change in their daily lives. I also use EMDR to help clients with the things they find most triggering. (You can read an article about EMDR on my blog.) Also, I find a little humor never hurts. I firmly believe clients and therapists should feel they’re a good fit before working together so I conduct a 15 minute phone consultation with new clients prior to scheduling appointments. These phone appointments can be scheduled by emailing me via my website, or the form on Psychology Today.
