I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working with children, adolescents and adults in individual, family and group therapy sessions. I believe that successful therapy work begins with a good relationship between therapist and client, and seeks to ensure a common ground to build upon. Born and raised in rural Alaska, with Inupiaq and the American Southern roots, I enjoyed a culturally rich upbringing and community. This created an appreciation others’ cultural backgrounds, seeking to understand before making assumptions. I collaborate with clients to address a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and general life stressors. I utilize my training in trauma, EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and expressive arts to assist clients reach their goals in healing and experiencing a greater quality of life.
