Therapist Overview
I enjoy working with teenage males as they navigate life transitions and recognize they often do not want to attend services, making it my goal to establish a genuine relationship so that they feel heard and respected. Thoughts of death or dying can be extremely distressing and I align with you to determine the best path forwards to manage and decrease those thoughts. For those who want their faith involved in services, I strive to use Biblical principles and guidance in order to move towards hope and strength. My service is centered on the therapeutic relationship and coming along side of you to create meaningful relationships. I have experience working with adolescents and teenagers, particularly males, and help them through family struggles, troubles in school, relationships, depression, anxiety, and any other concern they may be experiencing. Additionally, I work with individuals who have suicidal ideation or thoughts and help them navigate those difficult thoughts. Starting counseling can be scary and often the hardest part is calling for an initial meeting. Building a caring relationship is essential in therapy and I would love to meet with you and see how I can help you along in your journey and support you in the change and progress you want in your life.
