I am convinced that a successful life is not defined by adversities, but by how and why we overcome them. Much of wasted lives arise from our own choices. My goal for each client is to help him, or her, to define a path, of his/her own choosing, which leads him to optimum independence from the issues that prevent him/her from achieving his/her life potential. Our own life habits prevent healing as we confront daily life challenges, crisis and traumatic experiences. Cognitive attitudes and affect developed through the years become barriers to regaining balanced mental health. As long as we think we are victims of people and circumstances, we act accordingly and our lives become a “self-fulfilling prophecy.” I
