I work primarily with individuals struggling with issues of grief: whether related to loss around death, illness, divorce or a break-up; as well as job termination and retirement. Life transitions of many kinds usually entail a grieving process-even positive ones such as a new marriage, career change, graduation from high school or college, a geographic move or the birth of a child. With these changes, you may feel uneasy that you are not as happy as you “should be”. We are always writing the story of our lives. I offer supportive space for that creative process. I have concentrated my post licensure education and training in psychotherapy related to grief and loss. My fifteen years of experience include working in outpatient treatment as well as the partial hospital level of care (at Butler Hospital).
