When I was Dean of Student Services at a school for teens at risk for drug addiction, unwanted pregnancy, and other self-destructive behaviors, I recognized that many of these teens were depressed, anxious, or suffering from traumatic experiences. In 2008, I earned my degree in social work from Adelphi University and most recently, I completed the three year Child Adolescent Training Psychotherapy Program at the William Alanson White Institute. My training in early emotional development is the foundation for my work with people of all ages.
