Therapist Overview

Lisa Rogers, MS, MFTI and MS CPCI, received her first Masters in Psychology with a Specialization in Children and Adolescents, graduating Suma Cum Laude with honors in 2012. Lisa received her second Master’s degree with duel licenses in Clinical Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy again graduating Suma Cum Laude. Lisa has extensive experience working with adults, couples, children and adolescents within the areas of addiction, domestic violence, anxiety/depression, sexual abuse, grief and loss, living with a chronic disease, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and areas of trauma for the past ten years. Lisa most commonly uses CBT combined with a systemic approach in order to get to the root of the issue and help the client discover what may be best for themselves and/or their family. Lisa also believes it is important to understand and listen to ones story without judgement and therefore: tailor therapy to each individual. It may seem like every day is a struggle and sometimes makes us feel hopeless or directionless. Lisa believes it is important to understand that some patterns of behavior that disrupt our lives can be addressed, changed and/or adjusted according to the individuals unique circumstance and path. Lisa provides a safe, empathetic and non-judgmental approach
