I incorporate a mindfulness approach to treatment and utilize acceptance and change strategies to help you reach your goals. My approach is collaborative, welcoming and non-judgmental. I am a licensed professional counselor and have been working in the field since 2007. I have experience working in varied settings including community mental health, hospital/ER, and Portland DBT Institute, Inc. I specialize in treating trauma/PTSD and use Somatic Experience principles and techniques to treat trauma. My clients have found this modality to be gentle, efficient, and effective. I also specialize in treating eating disorders, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship difficulties/dynamics, and grief. I am trained in Somatic Experience (SE), DBT, CBT and I incorporate mindfulness principles and techniques into treatment.
