It has been my experience that self-worth and self-esteem is the major route cause of many behavioral disorders. Holding a job, having a wonderful marriage, or even good friends can be shipwrecked by negative expectations, which I associate with a “metaphorical lens” or how we interpret life especially interactions with others. A person’s environment throughout life contributes to the “Lens.” A host of negative sources from bullying to being compared poorly to a sibling or some other person erode our opinion of how people view us. This faulty thinking can be treated. Dealing with symptoms only never reach the real issue. I received my Bachelor of Science from Lee University, my Master of Divinity, Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and my Doctor of Ministry from Pentecostal Theological Seminary.
