I view psychotherapy as a collaborative experience between therapist and patient. I see my role as that of a space holder and guide. I will shed light on and explore what may be causing difficulty in your life, provide affirmation, and offer tools that will help sustain your therapeutic goals. I believe that transformation and change can evolve through collaboration and the development of a renewed narrative that is validating and hopeful. I practice from a diverse perspective that allows for flexibility based on individual need. My approach is informed by relational, narrative, attachment, feminist, and psychodynamic theories. I am queer and trans/gender competent, social justice oriented, and holistic. I incorporate mindfulness and somatic awareness into my work when appropriate.
