She/Her/Hers
I work with young adults in high school & college, adults and family systems. I provide a warm, hand in hand, down to earth, relatable way of working. My strength is in meeting clients where they are while providing a guiding hand through a process that involves empathic listening and reflective questioning which facilitates insight into the thought process, somatic responses, and parts of self.
Therapist Overview
The gift of therapy is priceless and highly transformative. I am walking proof of the impact and have lived through tremendous challenges related to grief & loss, high conflict and toxic relationships, health scares, career challenges and changes, intergenerational trauma, raising young adults and lived experiences in different parts of the country. My therapeutic journey was led by a skilled therapist and through that learning an inherent calling to help others arose. Today, I work with clients in California and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR.)
I work with individuals with a focus on life transitions. I meet clients where they are and provide a guiding hand with the client’s lead. This work is through a trauma-informed lens as there are varying levels of trauma (from assault to a difficult relationship or tough event) that can impact us or play out in our lives that create imbalances within.
To navigate this imbalance, my approach is similar to a functional medicine professional with a focus on the mental mind, the physical body, and the inner self with the goal of all three working in harmony together. This technique incorporates empathic listening, somatic response analysis and reflective questioning that facilitates insight for the client.
