Therapist Overview

I have a passion for working with clients struggling with issues that prevent them from doing things they value, reaching goals, or sustaining satisfying relationships. Together we explore ways to work through hard emotions, painful memories and unhelpful thought patterns. I enjoy helping clients manage everyday challenges and build skills to handle whatever life hands us. I work with a variety of common issues related to identity and esteem, managing intimacy and relationships, navigating complex social and personal boundaries, adjusting to life transitions, processing grief and loss, hardships at work, isolation and loneliness. My approach to therapy is holistic, non judgmental, warm, collaborative, & growth focused. My post-graduate training includes specialized training in anxiety disorders and am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy and TF-CBT. Reaching out can be scary, but I believe everyone can benefit from having emotional support and learning new skills and tools to manage life’s challenges. I take a non pathological approach to treatment, focusing on finding new ways to respond and work with unhelpful emotional or behavioral patterns that keep us from living the life we want.
